FIGHTING for LADY LIBERTY

The Women’s Collections at Georgia State University were founded in order to record and remember the efforts of women in Georgia who fought for the ratification of the ERA. This exhibit seeks to honor that original mission by tracing the history of the Equal Rights Amendment and by illustrating the work of the women who fought for it both nationally and here in Georgia.

This exhibit was curated by Samantha Harvel.
