Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer Nick Arroyo: "4,000-5,000 marchers are expected to celebrate Gay Pride with a parade, entertainment, speeches and candidate appearances." Newspaper caption: "A group of men turn a car into a float as participants in the Lesbian/Gay Pride Parade. About 5,000 people came out, the most ever, organizers said." Date-stamped "Mon Jun 25 1990 J C." Sign reads "Gay and proud."
