Protest is well represented across many of the collecting areas in Georgia State University's Special Collections and Archives, and the Gender and Sexuality Collections include particularly rich offerings. Documents are scattered throughout the collections, as activist donors saved the history of their personal and group activities. Of note are the papers of ACT UP members Andrew Wood and Jim Allen, as well as Project Q member and organizer of the Cracker Barrel "Buy One Campaign," Carl Owens. Interviews conducted for the Gender and Sexuality Oral History Project further flesh out the history of protest activities.
The Andrew P. Wood Papers have been digitized and are available via the GSU Library's Digitial Collections.
