On The Basis of Sex: Violence, Discrimination, and Reproductive Rights

The Women’s March highlighted many issues that attendees cared about – racism, misogyny, homophobia, government corruption, the environment, and the plight of refugees and immigrants. Body autonomy was also a recurring theme. Since the Women’s March, much movement building has focused on a woman’s right to control what happens to her body. As a result, reproductive justice, sexual harassment and sexual assault have been in the forefront of movement building.
