#BansOffOurBodies

At the Women’s Marches, huge numbers signaled their concern over government interference in women’s body autonomy. Their concerns were realized when, in September of 2021 the state of Texas enacted the harshest abortion ban in the country. SB 8 banned abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, and allowed a private reporting/ enforcing mechanism. Other states, including Florida, Ohio and Arkansas are currently enacting similar laws. In response to this, Planned Parenthood has launched a #BansOffOurBodies campaign.
