Wingy Manon and Mercer’s “Hello, Out There, Hello!”was written for the 1952 film
Everything I Have Is Yours.
Bob Hilliard and Walter Bishop’s “Surprise Party” was recorded by Johnny Mercer in 1944.
“A Little Too Fer,” with music and lyrics by Charles Hayes, was recorded by Johnny Mercer for Capitol in 1946.
“Save the Bones for Henry Jones” was recorded by Johnny Mercer and the King Cole Trio for Capitol Records in 1947.
